IME-Mexican Consulate
The Mexican Consulate Scholarship, established in collaboration between the Consulate of Mexico in Albuquerque, IME Scholarship Program, and CNM Foundation, is intended to raise the level of education of Mexicans residing in New Mexico and attending CNM. The Government of Mexico provides funding for Mexicans living abroad and holds to the mission of contributing to their education and best social development. The Consulate of Mexico provides scholarships to students born in Mexico or whose parents were born in Mexico. Eligible students must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for both Fall and Spring terms, have a minimum 3.0 GPA, and be enrolled in course level 0970 or above. Students must write a personal statement about themselves, why they have chosen their major, their educational goals, and how their education at CNM will help them. Students need to request a letter of recommendation from a CNM Connect Academic Coach. Students need to upload one of the following: Mexican Birth Certificate, Mexican Passport, Matricula Consular, or Mexican Naturalization Certificate.
