Heather Mara Memorial Endowment

The Heather Mara Memorial Scholarship Endowment has been established through the CNM Foundation and various donors to honor Heather Hull Mara, a former instructor at CNM where she taught logic, philosophy and ethics in the CNM School of Communications, Humanities, and Social Science. Eligible students must be enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours, and have a minimum 2.0 GPA. Students must write a personal statement about themselves, why they have chosen their major, their educational goals, and how their education at CNM will help them. Students need to request a letter of recommendation from a current instructor. Preference will be given to students enrolled in any of the degree programs available through the School of Communications, Humanities or Social Science.
