Success Paralegal(Modrall Rodey)

The Paralegal Success Scholarship has been established by the CNM Foundation and donors Modrall Sperling Law Firm and Rodey Law Firm. This scholarship is available to CNM students receiving their Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. It is intended to help an outstanding student with their goal of pursuing a bachelor’s degree at a four year institution or joining the work force in a job related to their Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies. This scholarship will be awarded to a student who has demonstrated a commitment to improving their future through education. Other consideration include the students’ CNM academic history, strength of personal statement, and future goals. Eligible students must be graduating from an Associate’s degree in Paralegal Studies, have not received a bachelor’s degree, be financial aid eligible, have a 2.5 or higher GPA, have completed at least 50 credits towards degree, and have applied for CNM Graduation. Students must write a personal statement of two pages or less addressing: Goal to transfer and pursue a bachelor’s degree at a four year institution or goal to join the work force in a job related to the Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies and how their associates degree from CNM will help them reach their goals. Students need to request a letter of recommendation from an instructor int he program area of study.
