Kapnison Presidential Scholarship

The Kapnison Presidential Scholarship is awarded to students who will be pursuing an associates degree at CNM in Culinary Arts. Awards will be to top eligible applicants. The selected recipient will be awarded $2,500 per year for two years divided between fall and spring if eligibility is maintained. The scholarship will cover educational costs and expenses including tuition (if not covered by another tuition scholarship), registration, technology, tools, and course fees and textbook cost. Students must provide a personal essay addressing your goals for working in the culinary industry, meet with a CNM Connect Academic Coach and provide a signed Degree Works plan, one letter of reference, and undergo an interview process (students will be contacted with additional information).

To maintain eligibility: The selected recipient must complete at least 12 credits each term with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, meet with a CNM Connect Academic Coach each term to review progress on Degree Works and meet all qualifications as outlined in the Student Agreement Contract.
