The Chester French and Diana Stewart Presidential Scholarship Endowment

The French Stewart Presidential Scholarship is awarded to a CNM Dual Credit student pursuing a business related associate degree at CNM who has been involved in community service. Awards will be made to the top eligible applicant. The selected recipient will be awarded for two years divided between fall and spring each year if eligibility is maintained. The scholarship will cover educational costs and expenses including tuition (if not covered by another tuition scholarship), registration, technology, and course fees and textbook cost. Eligible students must have completed 6 credits while in high school as a CNM Dual Credit student with a 3.0 or higher GPA, complete a FAFSA, and enroll in at least 12 credit hours in a declared program degree. Students must write a personal essay including interest in and need for this scholarship, your community service involvement as a high school student and your goals continuing to serve the community (one page maximum). Students need to attach a high school transcript with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students must upload a copy of their degree works signed by an Academic Coach. Students need to request one letter of recommendation. Applicants will undergo an interview process and will be contacted with additional information.
