APWA - NM

The American Public Works Association – New Mexico Chapter (APWA-NM) Scholarship has been established through the CNM Foundation to support students seeking to obtain an associate’s degree or certificate in any public works related program through CNM’s Math, Science and Engineering and/or Applied Technology schools. Applicants must be enrolled in a Math, Science, and Engineering (MSE) OR Applied Technology (AT) program, enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours, have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Recipient will be strongly encouraged to attend an APWA-NM conference and may be requested to give a short (5 minute or less) presentation describing their goals and how the scholarship has aided in achieving those goals. Students must write a personal statement about themselves, their need for the scholarship, why they have chosen their major, their educational goals, and how their education at CNM will help them. Students need to request a letter of recommendation from the MSE or AT Dean.
